Right GPU for the job?

Hello all,

 

I have a 4k tv and an 1080p monitor, but unfortunately my R9 270x can't push 4k past 30hz, so thats no good. I'd basically like to be able to watch 4k content (media) when it finally comes out.

 

Do you know the right GPU for the job?

980 ti, 980, fury, Fury X possibley a few others that could do it too. 390x and r9 Nano could most likley do it decently

Don't bother. You're going to have to spend a lot of money on a GPU for 4K. By the time 4K becomes mainstream, we should have mainstream GPUs for the job. Right now, you're stuck to buying high end if you want that kind of resolution.

It does support 4k, but only at 30hz.

Same as most streaming services, if you're not going to game keep what you have.
