390 vs 780?

Ive found a EVGA SC 780 for £150 and was thinking if i should buy this over a 390? the 390 would cost £90 more, just because i seen this deal but im not sure if its worth buying, hoping somebody can help thanks

Take the 780. Use the remaining money to buy games.

What resolution?

 

If 1440p, 390.

If 1080p, 780.

I already have a pc 8350,7970 ect, so i already have lots of games. This would be getting used for a new build (6600k,390ect...) would it be worth buying a 780ti for about the same price because i have found one for £10 more

Also, i would be playing on 1080p but upgrading to a 1440p monitor in a couple months

If you can get the 780ti for around the price of the 780, get that. It's almost as powerful as the R9 390, but it'll cost way less.

Definitely. If you're going 1440p, it might be worth it to pick up the R9 390.

I think i will just go for the 390 because i want to have a fully built new system and have everything "nice and shiny" shall i say, thanks for the help and welcome to the site  :rolleyes:
