Hello,

Im upgrading from an FX6300 to an i5 5675C, and i have HyperX Savage 2400Mhz RAM. I saw on Intel's product page that the 5675C only supports DDR3L at 1.5V, do you think it will be able to run my RAM without issue?

Thanks in advance! :)

Considering the 5675C's price , i would get a 4790k instead.

Yes.

Memory power delivery is in the MB, not the CPU.

THANK YOU. My god, i was called crazy when trying to push that narrative. vDIMM does not effect the CPU at all. VCCIO and VCCSA do. VCCSA is the IMC/PCIE subdomain voltage, and VCCIO (A/D) is the electrical paths into and out of the IMC. Intel only made that statement, because loading DDR3 XMP profiles on a DDR4 board might increase the VCCIO/SA voltages to unsafe values. People just took that for gospel, and went around spreading false information.

I am living proof. I am running overclocked DDR4 memory outside of Intel's specifications, and have been for over a month now with absolutely no problems. Board sensors read everything within safe temps, and i've ran prime95 several times, for days on end (takes 27 hours to finish every single FFT for true 100% stability).

all the ddr3 boards for skylake suck, i think you are better off selling the ddr3 and getting ddr4 or stick with a haswell cpu
