Im helping my Father buying a graphics card.

He wants a r9 290 or 290x reference models.

What should I give for those cards?

don't get a reference card , they sound like hair dryers at load.

 

Get an aftermarket one , its well worth it.

I knew that would come off, my dad sticks to that card. He has 2 fans pushing air directly onto the graphics card. I reckon there's no problem what so ever :-)

Because, taking his case in perspektive, it would be stupid not to do it. And he like the cooler? I wouldn't buy a graphics card i didnt like the look of, would you?

Then buy mine lol. If you're asking on price then it depends on if you want to go cheap and risk a bad card, or spend a little more and know you're getting a good one.
