Some of the parts I already had (CPU, GPU, PSU, memory, and storage), but my old build's motherboard died. Considering what I had and my needs, I figured it was time for a case upgrade too (old was a cheap Rosewill mid tower). I decided to go all out and try and fit everything, even a ridiculously large dual tower air cooler into a small ITX case. The Fractal Design Core 500 appears to be designed for water cooler, but the PSU placement actually allows for extremely large tower coolers. It says it fits air coolers up to 170mm and the Cryorig R1 is 168.5mm tall with a flat top. It should just barely fit everything in the case. For those not familiar with it, it's on par with an NH-D15, although IMO it looks way better.

Pictures will be taken during the entire assembly process once the last parts arrive. Can't wait!

Here is the same cooler in a Node 304:

Now add on a full length GPU, ATX PSU, and even a 5.25" bay up front. I can't imagine I'll have any space leftover at all.

I can't wait!

I don't think I'm gonna go with the Node 202, aesthetic is kind of odd now that I've had some time to look at it. Plus I just modded my SG05, lookin' sharp.

Motherboard arrived, build finished, albeit with a temporary cooler. It's already super cramped in the case. Pictures added. Runs like a dream and is super cool and quiet.
