Is this possible? Windows 10 is alot slower, and less user-friendly to me, and i dislike it alot. Would DX12 to Windows 7 be possible?

Dual booting for the WIN.

At least until Win10 gets better.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Not unless someone hacks it, hope for vulcan to be good

It doesn't matter how good Vulcan will be, Nvidia will not accept nor use it. Meaning 70% of the market wont be using it and it will die off (exactly what happened to Mantle). The only reason DX is a success is because both sides use it.

Windows Vista released with DX9. And it had update packages for DX10 & 11.2

The reason for that was MS was an attempt to bring people off of xp, but it failed, miserably.

Other way around, amd is the one with bad opengl support

Windows Vista released with DX9. And it had update packages for DX10 & 11.2

Thats cos of the new WDDM Vista launched with allowed them to do that.

DX12 is complex, and prob too complex to be run directly off the older W7 WDDM.

Not happening. Now, if Microsoft would actually let it trickle down to 8.1, that would be fantastic. :P

Why would Nvidia not support the successor to something they have always supported?

Edit: If not possible, why?

No,Because of hardware /software compatibility and Microsoft want all window 7 user to upgrade to window 10

Windows 10 is better than Windows 7 for me as it download updates and install driver faster. Also windows 7 is boring for me.
