So i just buyed ps3 on sale. And as i heard that sony will shut down playstation network for ps3 i want to knlw can i still play singleplayer games on ps3 without playstation network. Thank you for ur help

 

 

PSN for PS3 will not be shutting for a very long time, probably will be around even when the PS5 comes

Yes you can play single player games without PSN (or internet connectino), but it will take some time until PSN will 'shut down'. Sony has said they will support PS3 until 2017.

If only Sony was so generous with the Dash, they keep threatening to shut down the servers for it and turn our $250 alarm clocks into paper weights.  They don't even support the apps for it anymore, so it's not that different.  Who ever heard of an alarm clock that had to be connected to the internet to function, and yes I know I was stupid to spend that much on an alarm clock.
