Carrying thinkpad by screen - not an issue?

Guest
Go to solution Solved by Guest,

It probably wont break... but is it really worth chancing it

chancing (verb) 1. The act of chance

But you're right

Is holding the business class x series thinkpads by the screen a problem? I own the x240 and haven't made a scratch on it but apparently I can be pretty rough with it.

Just asking if carrying it by the screen would matter, and im only usually carrying it for a couple seconds to reposition it.

Also, does anyone know how to remove the delay between clicking and typing? I think synaptics makes it so that if you type you cant click for a second

And if you can answer these questions, I have a bunch of unanswered ones over here:

Thanks

I guess it depends how hard your gripping it. Are you holding it by your left or right hand?

Don't do drugs. Do hugs!

Mkay, then its probably fine. As long as your not using the hand that you usually, erm... "grip" with. If you used that hand, the added strength might break through the screen. ;)
