Hey there guys, could you list some open world games which are absolutely awesome? Can be an old game, doesn't matter, just suggest games cause I'm so bored. I've played this year's ones, like GTA V, Witcher 3, Mad Max, MGS V, Skyrim, AC Syndicate so no need to list those. Thanks!

Preferably open world, but if there are any which aren't, but are really really fun, do suggest those too!

Already!

Fallout 3 & 4 and new vegas

Just cause

Dying light

Played all!

The Long Dark.

While technically it is an open-world game, it is smaller than most.

Starbound.

A fun game that expands... INDEFINITELY!

Are these fun?!

Hell yeah!

They both are great.

Starbound is a more fun and light-hearted game, whereas The Long Dark is a much more grim, and dark game (aka you will die very quickly).

Here is the promo video for The Long Dark (It is the E3 Xbox launch trailer, but Hinterland uses it for all platforms):

Yeah gonna look at that!

Yeah I played Origins and City, wanted to play Knight so badly but WOW optimisation.

I got Knight for $60 with season pass on one of those key websites. I couldn't return it so Rocksteady gave me all of the other Arkham games for free for keeping the game. I can't stop playing them.

Played the others, but can't do knight, even if I want to. It's so badly optimised right?

Let me throw in one then, the Stalker series, only Call of Pripyat was a true open world game though. Try it with the Misery mod for a truly hardcore experience.

Just Cause 3 is worth a look. It's fricking massive and the EXPLOSIONS!!!

If it didn't run like ass on PC, I would've bought one.

AMD VS Nvidia = A lost mail man that will do whatever it takes to give you your mail... despite being a few days late... and never realizing that the house that the mail is for was pretty much the first house he started from VS A well dressed, well groomed, well cleaned, and cologned-up donger that just wiggles itself and is the type of guy that makes after-parties a nightmare. Basically its: An idiot that tries VS a jerk that ruins every after-party. Pick your poison.
