Dead spot, no coverage

Basically my router which supports 2.4/5 ghz networks can be used throughout nearly everywhere in the house apart from one room where there is no coverage. I need a sort of device to boost signal there, one that will help me achieve the full speeds of my interwebz connection since I am moving to that room and having no wifi is a big downturn for me.

an ethernet cable would be the only way to get full speed

I don't want to run cables from downstairs to my room, plus I use my phone most of the times in my room, What about a wifi booster of some sort?
