I went on to the Xbox website and it had a chart showing what you could do with (I think) Silver and Gold. I said I think because It said Xbox Live on one side then Gold on the other. It said multiplayer was available for both... I dont really know if I read it wrong or they changed it.

you need to pay for xbox live i think

You pay for live gold but everyone can have an xbox live account with some basic features, has been that way for 7+ years.

Last time I played Xbox you had to have a Gold account to play Multiplayer games?!?

Silver. Which claims you can play Multiplayer games online, so either this is new or false information on their part. Back in the 360 days you had to pay to play Multiplayer.
