Have you been complaining about how Windows 10 installs updates automatically?

Have any upgrades to your Windows 10 machine caused you head scratching and hair pulling problems?

Try deferring your upgrades on Windows 10!

What is deferring? This is what Microsoft says on the topic.

Some Windows 10 editions let you defer upgrades to your PC. When you defer upgrades, new Windows features won’t be downloaded or installed for several months. Deferring upgrades doesn’t affect security updates. Note that deferring upgrades will prevent you from getting the latest Windows features as soon as they’re available.

Where can you find this miracle option?

Go to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update > Advanced Options

Have updates already made your computer buggy? As a bonus, Microsoft adds the ability to uninstall previous updates. This could solve your issues after having an update install automatically.

Go to Go to Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update > Advanced Options > View your update history > Uninstall updates

Then choose the update that is causing you problems (maybe the latest one?), right click on it and select uninstall.

You get ALL this for a low low price of not your soul, not $100, Not even $0.10 but FREE!!!

(Disclaimer: Only available on Windows 10 pro and enterprise versions. User must have some way of selecting this option such as with your arms and fingers with moving the cursor and clicking. Must be human. May cause joy and orange, green, blue, and yellow diarrhea as well as some blindness.)

Just in case you didn't know about this, I thought I'd just inform people who don't like automatic updates or have had issues in the past. You can delay your upgrades and uninstall latest updates.

I think this is only Windows 10 Pro and up, but still useful for those who have it

Pro Tip: don't use flash when taking pictures of your build; use a longer exposure instead. Prop up your camera with something (preferably a tripod) if necessary.

if you use retarded/autistic/etc to mean stupid please gtfo

Correct, but most likely those won't cause issues. If they do, like I put in the post, you can uninstall them.

most updates are for security. Those most likely wont cause issues. When Microsoft introduces new features in an update, that will most likely cause issues which you can defer this upgrade to install at a later date when the issues are ironed out.

If a security update does cause issues(any issues) to your pc you can always uninstall the update.

You can only defer updates with the pro or enterprise, and with pro it will force the install after 3 months.

Correct sir.
