Hello everyone, I'm planning a new build for post secondary school education in 2014.

These are my chosen part:

AMD FX 8350

ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0

NZXT Kraken X60

NZXT Phantom 530

AMD 9000 series graphics card

256GB OCZ Vector SSD (As boot and cache drive)

WD Black 1TB

Is this able to handle my usage?

What programs are you going to be using?

Your build could be better.

I'm nt sure as i have not complete my secondary school yet. I will only know it when i reach polytechnic (is a school that prepares you for working life and u get a diploma at the course u take at the end of 3 years. It is a step before university.)

Are you mostly coding and not any heavy vm's? I doubt the school would put so many tasks that have heavy system requirements since not everyone has a supercomputer.

Coding is pretty damn light fyi--most of the stuff in school I'm assuming you can run on a toaster unless of course you're doing more than just that.

Also, your budget? Region?

$1400-1600 and i'm from singapore. Things are nt cheap in my country, nt to mention there is goods and service tax.

Are you shopping local or online? i'm guessing you're not actually spending US dollars--actual currency?

Fyi, you need to quote a post or else the person won't get a notification you replied to them.
