What LOL!?!? I think you're confused lol. But it happens to the best of us so no worries:)

well i checked those earlier comments. i WAS talking about !!4670k!! vs 4690k. but you then said that !!4790k!! is better than 4690k. well ofc 4790k is a lot better than 4690k, but i was talking about i5 processors, you threw i7 in the middle of the conversation and i didnt notice it. well, it happens lol.

mistake, i thought he was talking about 4670k, because thats the one i was talking about, but he threw in i7

it was an honest mistake. You good

so Gigabyte g1 gaming 970 or evga ftw +?

On Pcpartpicker.com the G1 is cheaper, so if you want cheaper I'd get that. It's mostly about what you want, they'll preform near the same without overclocking and guaranteed overclocking on both is kinda random.

The OP is upgrading to a 4790k, which I think caused the confusion when you listed something else. I'd take a 4770 over my 4690k to be honest. New games are all about threads.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

oh shit i think im going blind or something. yup op was upgrading to 4790k, for some reason my eyes saw he was upgrading to 4670k, i fucked up. ofc u will take 4790k, i would too if i had the money. actually i ordered 4690k few days ago, it should come next week. i hope its gonna be a beast, my a10 6800k is bottlenecking my gtx 970 badly, cpu usage 100% when playing bf4 but gpu fans barely start spinning(msi gtx 970, fans spin only when above x degrees)

A 4690k is an awesome CPU, it just can't handle the hot mess that is some new games. Though if it's paired with an Nvidia card which places less stress on the CPU the issue usually isn't as bad. Worst of the worst is Fallout 4 that bottlenecks my 390 pretty bad.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
