Looking at this page. http://www.ncix.com/category/solid-state-drive-ssd-ssd-120-to-160gb-95-1275-2210.htm

There is a kingston, and a sandisk, a patriot and adata ssds' for $60ish. They all pretty much the same?

I was able to pick up a Samsung 850 evo 250gb for something like $USD75 on Amazon. I believe that price is still available. I'm not sure on the price of the 120gb, but I imagine it'd be $60 or lower.

If you're in Canada, I'm sure you'd still be able to get free or very cheap shipping on it provided you order through Amazon's US site

I would go with the Samsung or Kingston, have seen both and used the Kingston myself with no issues

I'm reading up now on some 7mm and 9mm connector on ssds. What is that referring to?

I need to hook it up to a MSI H81M-E34 motherboard and an EVGA 500W 80 PLUS CERTIFIED ACTIVE PFC 12V power supply.

I'd say Samsung, Adata and Plextor are the best. Mushkin SSDs are good as well, underrated IMO.
