Is this idle temp. normal

My I5 4460 is running around ~50 degrees celsius. Should I get a aftermarket cooler, not watercooling (if there even is any) but just air cooling for gaming?

Check temps under load. If they exceed about 70 degrees the you may want to get one. for aircooling i know everyone says this but cooler master 212 evo

idle temps depend more on the outside air than they do on your system.

Get aida64 (trial) and run the stress test for 20 min or until temp is constant.

Post those temps

You're ok then.  No need for an aftermarket cooler.
