Ok so after much contemplation and help from the forums, I finished my first PC build.

One problem. Im over budget  :(

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/2dkCHx

I am $200 AUD over what I should be and I am still yet to factor in shipping, network cards, and an operating system.

Can anyone tell me what I can do to cut down the cost without skimping on any of the major parts.

Also can you check over the build to see if there are any compatibility issues  ;)

Much appreciated,

Hayzeon

Your spending tons on that case and a 380 would be better

Get a 380X, cheaper RAM (if you can, I'm not familiar with Australian stuff), a better SSD, fewer fans, get rid of the sound card, get a Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler.

I did my best.  Also took out the LED's, fans and filters.  Those can be added later on.  This will also perform slightly better because of the 390 instead of the 970.

Lol I have it and it's just fine. Regardless, there are better and cheaper options that the OP can choose himself, but this is what he had.

I simply had to cut corners.

The fans you wanted to use were terrible anyways and the new case comes with enough fans for now.
The PSU you wanted to use had a few problems and I don't recommend it at all. Instead use the Bitfenix Fury. It comes at least with some awesome cables and is much cheaper.
Then the case. I had to change that aswell, because the case you chose was just too expensive for your budget.
I also change the motherboard to the lower priced Anniversary Edition.
The RAM I changed, too. I think it looks better, while beeing actually cheaper. It's still very high quality RAM.
