CPU upgrade

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/kPDBkL

This is my current PC build and so far it has been running great for games such as CSGO.

I am looking to upgrade my cpu to an i5, but I am not sure if there is anything else I need to upgrade with it.

Any help is great, Thank you!

Just get a 4460. If you have another 300 bucks, get a gtx 970 or 960

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

honnestly i dont really see why you need a cpu upgrade. your not bottle necking your gpu and most games arent that cpu bound anymore. the ones that are like WOW and such only really use 2 threads anyway.

With games like witcher 3, fallout 4, etc. better cpu's are becoming necessary!

The graphics card is not going to push that many frames anyways with decent settings in those games.

eh both those games will do fine with an i3. we arent at that point yet. i understand if you want to play farcry but most games dont really need that much cpu power. whats going to hold you back more then your cpu is your gpu a 750ti is a little dated and under powered for an i5.
