Looking for a quality mobo $300-400. X99 ATX platform. I'm currently looking at the Asus x99 sabertooth and an AsRock Extreme6. Might do some mild OCing. Any feedback on these and or others that would be recommended? Don't really need any special specs like wifi, but wouldn't hurt either.

Well like I consider 4.5 ghz on a 5820k mild. Hehe

you can do that with any cheap x99 board

whether you can get 4.5GHz or not depends on the CPU silicon lottery

Well yeah but I want one that will last for a good while. I've had bad experiences with cheap motherboards in the past where they give out in like 8 months. So I've set aside a good portion of money for the mobo

as long as you buy from a good brand you wont have any issues with cheaper boards

the ASUS x99-a is great, or you can get a X99-pro/deluxe if you want additional features

they all have great quality

btw there is a quote button over there ------>

then people will actually know when you reply

I personally have the ASRock X99 Extreme6 and I can full heartedly recommend it if you like its blue color.
