What to upgrade next for new games

iiiKira

Hello, I'm not exactly a 'techie' person so I wanted some help on what to upgrade next to play new games on high settings at 60+fps.

I haven't got a high budget so I would need some not-so-cheap upgrades if possible! :D

My current PC:

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-78LMT

CPU - AM FX-6300 Six Core 3.7Ghz

GPU - AMD Radeon R9 270 2GB

RAM - Some cheap DD3 2x4GB 2ghz

PSU - Not quite sure... 500W though..

If I need to include anything else please let me know!

Currently with this setup I can run GTA V on medium-high settings at around 45-60fps. I would like to get GTA V to run on a constant 60fps if possible.

Thanks for the help!

So my CPU is good enough for a better GPU for now?

PSU, GPU, CPU. In that order, since a new GPU might be too much for your PSU, and your CPU doesn't need to be upgraded right away is it is decent enough for a new GPU  ;)

Tokyo Sunshine:Corsair 750d case with custom lighting, Asus ROG Maximus VIII Z170, Intel i5-6600 processor, 16gb HyperX Fury DDR4 RAM, MSI r9 270x 4gb@ 1300mhz mem clock, Sandisk Ultra II SSD 256gb, 2x 1tb HDD

Thanks for the feedback :)
So I guess the GPU and PSU will be the main upgrade for now then.

I don't know much about PSUs, so can you recommend any PSU?
