how to get windows to go ISO (legally)

Go to solution Solved by Matt420740,

:( I know, but I saw ppl on youtube bypassing that

Yes, but thats a workaround, and its not guaranteed to work for everyone, as you can clearly tell from the comment section........

Only guaranteed way is with one of those drives.

My computer is double booted with windows 7 and win 10 enterprise (90-day trial)

I have a 57 gig USB (which windows says is not compatible with windows to go, but I want to install it, and I saw people install it on youtube https://youtu.be/8NJfEDQ8D2Y?t=15s)

but from where can I get the ISO with the file?

DO NOT post if you will say about illegal websites, I want it legally.

I have win 10, but I want the file to make windows 2 go

The install media tool has an option for a bootable USB drive.

yes, that installs the windows 10 installer, but not windows to go (windows that can boot from a USB)

Windows can not boot from a USB drive without using something like Rufus.

To use Windows To Go, you need a certified USB drive.  As of now, there are only 5.

I know I don't have a supported drive, but I really need it for my system recovery, so I can use file explorer to clone my C disk on D (on my crashed computer) I spent all day trying and I couldn't, so now I would just like to try the non-guaranteed way (like on the video I posted on my post) to try to recover my pc

Just use Ubuntu.  Its easy to make a bootable USB of that OS, and you'll get access to your drives.  And even better it comes out of the box with the ability to clone your drives, no additional software needed.

thanks, the only problem I have is that it randomly crash sometimes, it always find errors on the and when clicking check USB for defects it finds 2 on every USB in every port I tried I don't want that it crashes the middle of a file transfer, but I guess I don't have a choice, so I will give it a go

Use cntrl + alt + T  to start terminal, and type in sudo fdisk –1 then press enter.

Do you see the drive there?

I am getting an error about the partition not being secure, make sure to disable fast boot message, but I will try to fix it myself, thanks for your help anyway :)

it's not illegal site it's a sharing site that people use to share illegal content you can't be arrested for downloading picture of your friend's cat through pirate bay well that's the same thing here ^^

edit: sorry didn't read the whole thread before answering good luck on finding your problem and fixing it ^^
