Gaming PC round about 900€

Hey guys,

I am Yannick from Germany and just started to go to university. After the first week I was so bored, I decided to build a gaming PC to distract me from studying.

Problem is: I am pretty new to this topic and can't pick the right choices which work the best for me. Now I am asking you guys to help me build a good and powerful gaming PC around 900€.

The budget is just for the hardware and the case. I already got a mouse, keyboard, headset and monitor!

What I would like to see in that build (if possible) is : - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970/980

                                                                                    - INTEL i5 or i7 processor

I hope you can help me! :)

Greetings from germany!

-Oh and I play games like: Diablo III, CS:GO, H1Z1, GTA V, LoL, etc.

dont give your budget in dollars, trust me, you'll be disappointed once you convert your build to euros.

give us your budget in euros and i'll see what i can do.

Thank You ! No , thats just Fine!

Why did you pick that processor in particular? I just want to understand your picks.

But that build looks almost perfect for my needs!

I've been researching the best value processors for a while already. i5-4460 is the sweetspot. Those above it adds big price but adds only little to performance.

Btw, you can change the Motherboard to Gigabyte it's cheaper by 20. And if you can find cheaper Storage you can replace the 1TB WD to save more money.

I think the build is enough to play all modern games.

EDIT: You can also change the casing if you can get a good cheaper deal.
