Well if you get the black one and leave the led off it's pretty low key. It has soft plastic on the thumb rest and it didn't get gunky like my standard hp mouse did.

For the money you are getting logitech quality, its basic but its better than some weird Chinese brand thing that will die on you

But the sensor is terrible (at least on the Mazer Type-R i used)

Is it? My Type-R has been just swell for me, It's a year old now and has not had any problems (other then the button squeaking now) . Logitech is probably a better choice overall, but the ones I have used were not that great.

The Type-R had horrible mouse acceleration and would just outright stop tracking if you moved the mouse to quick.
