ok, this question mainly has to do the compatibility between different PSU manufactures / models and the cables they use to connect to the different components...

so basically it seems like (for the most part anyways) all the different modular PSUs use standard connectors, with the only difference being

   - the 24 pin mobo having either a 9x2 + 5x2 or a 7x2 + 5x2 connector

   - and (obviously) different models and power ranges offering different amount of pci / peripheral connectors

that being said the 'individually sleeved cable kits' are sold for specific models of CPUs... and they are only made for a few specific models... and they have a very wide price range as well...

my question is, are these cable kits be interchangeable?

no they are not the same

look at the shape of the plastic holes, they are different

just because its 4x2 doesnt mean it is the same as another brands 4x2

this is why you NEVER use cables between different brands of PSUs even if they fit, because they use different pinouts

Connectors need to be compatible, keying and even length matters.

Wiring order would almost certainly need to be changed.

Not worth the headache IMO.
