I'm looking for white lights to put inside my S340, are there any recommendations for LED strips or cathodes I can get in the UK?  There doesn't seem to be a big variety and I can't get a clear answer on the brightness or density of the LEDs.

NZXT Hue is the new thing out that everyone is talking about, they also just have a plain white strip. thermaltake also has white led strips.

The Hue has been around for years and I don't have a drive bay to fit it in.  I'm just looking for LED strips or cathodes if they're preferable.

the new hue not the old one. New one place it at the ssd mount s340 provide at the main chamber looks freaking dope.

Hmm the Hue+ is very interesting, plenty of customisation but I have three SSDs in my rig already and it's quite expensive.  Looks like my best option so far though.

for the function that is the best option for everyone but the price is kinda harsh. well maybe stick it on one of your ssd or put on the cable management thingy the speciality of s340.+

I'll make it fit somehow.  After watching a few videos about the Hue+, it's definitely the best solution out there for case lighting, thanks.

I am the owner of Addon Customs a pc modding store that specialises in LED lighting based in the UK, in fact I am only 30 minutes away from Kingston, and I used to live in Walton On Thames and spend a lot of time in Kingston.

If you are wanting white leds that I would suggest staying away from RGB lights (that includes the Hue and Hue+)  RGB creates white by using red, green, and blue lights together which results in a dirty looking white, some angles it would look ok, while at other angles you would see hints of colour instead of white.

Our White LED strips are created with pure white diodes, making it a really clean white. Prices start from £7.99 per strip, and each strip is 30cm long and contain 18 LEDs (more than competitors), each strip is wired and sleeved by hand to ensure the highest quality, you can choose from loads of power cable lengths from 10cm all the way up to 2 meters, and choose either a 3pin fan connector (dimmable when plugged into a fan controller) or a 4pin molex.

@Marcus_UK Thanks a lot for your reply.  Your LED strips seem far superior to any others I've seen and are excellent value.  Unfortunately the NZXT Hue+ has sold me with their software.  I'll definitely be recommending you to my friends who are looking for case lighting as well!

That's fine, appreciate the recommendations.

Yeah the new Hue+ looks awesome, been working on my own version for just over a year now, LED style, colours and patterns will be the same as the Hue+ but I cannot compete with their software (YET!). My version should be available early next year.
