Meh, it doesn't matter, get whichever looks better to you

but what do i choose? 

RAM makes little to no difference, just get which ever looks best.

If getting Skylake, give preference for V. If not, any will do.

Whatever looks better to your eyes. RipjawsV is a marketing gimmick for the newer Z170 boards (Ripjaws 4 is supposedly for X99, and when Z170 came out they had to make something "new" for it, although both boards require the same kind of DDR4 anyway). Ripjaws 4 and RipjawsV are exactly the same chips depending on the version you're looking at.
