I tried using various sites but I thought this place is the best to have this question answered.

 

Need a PSU for this build"

 

i5 4690k Running @ 4.5

Hyper212 Evo

3 120mm fans

ram: 16gb g skill

GPU: R9 280

mobo: PC mate z97

 

Main PC: 4690k // Z97 // R9 280 3GB // 8gb Ram // CM Elite 430 Case // 750 EVGA B PSU // 1TB HDD

 

Living Room "Console" PC: FX 8350 // 990a SLI Krait // R7 360 // 8gb Ram // HAF 912 // 750 EVGA B PSU // 1TB HDD

 

Future Plans:

find a 2nd monitor at a pawn shop

Sell/giveaway R7 360, move r9 280 into console PC, buy a better GPU for main PC.

Think maybe 260W under load with overclocks.

Oh, you need a PSU? Antec HCG 520W would be good. EVGA GS/B2/GQ/G2 as well.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Anywhere around 500w up to 600w would be ample, anything more would be a waist of money.

Them PSU's are awesome alternatively any current XFX are great PSUs

...
