So new Windows 10 Update?

So yesterday i woke up and went to my comp (Usaly i leave it on) but yesterday morning the comp was off so i turned it on and on the screen it flashed up saying Windows 10 has been updated and we have changed some things blah blah blah.
But the update got rid of my desktop wall paper, disabled Nvidia Surround, reset all my Nvidia settings to default, reset all my sound settings to default, all my network settings to default and privacy settings and it reset all my power options and settings. Deleted my homegroup and my network media server setup.

And thats only what i know atm.
What exactly did they do and change and why has it done this much crap to my system.

Desktop: CPU: I7-5820K GPU: 980Ti, 750Ti PhysX Mobo: MSI X99A SLI PLUS RAM: 4x4 Kingston DDR4 2400MHz OS: Win10
Storage: 250GB Samsung Evo, 3TB WD Black and Green FIRESTRIKE, Reason for dedicated PhysX Card.
Peripherals: Screen: 3x BenQ VZ2350 Mouse: Razer Naga Keyboard: Some Dell Thing Sound: Razer Tiamat, 5.1 Logitech Surround Speakers

The update was like Windows 10.1 It required changes to ALOT of core system files (you will notice that your right click context menu has changed and so has the right click on task bar among lots of other little tweaks). Its not a surprise that it reset some system settings.

Yeah, dont like how it reset so many setting though :/ all my game profiles in the Nvidia control panel just gone so got to set them all up again :/

ummm thats why you turn off automatic windows updates and choose let me choose what to install. also turning off that stupid automatic timer that goes off when windows downloads updates and also thats why you dont buy MS windows because they are crooks and they want to steal your personal data so bad. if you have got a windows 10 at least disable all that tracking keyboad strokes shit. but TBH i think it should have left windows 7 restore point somewhere. google it

actually no i live in europe and i use some protection too in order to protect my privacy. i cant understand why so many ppl dont give a S*** about it. its the same as why not i have all your info as it wasnt going anywhere. google has it? well its your fault you should have at least created a separate account or used duckduckgo or something. anyways MS is just a company they have no right to track what i do on my Personal Computer and if they does it i would rater use linux with track free enviriment. is it fine for you that they know what porn do you watch? did you consent to that? oh right you have accepted their terms of service. tinfoil hats off but its seriously fucked up shit. it would be the last drop if they was woking with a police and lets say you write something thats illegal and they arrest you. we are going towards this. imagine if someone was always stanging beside you and watching what are you doing. even tho you most like dont have anything to hide its creepy enough to be dismissed.

Dont get me wrong i totally agree with you and i think its disgusting that even the gov does it. but i just stopped caring as you cant stop it happening so i just stopped freaking out over it and live with it. i do make sure all my privacy settings are crap are turned off but even though you turn it off in the control panel doesnt actually prove there still not watching :/

there are better ways than turning off settings in controll panel. and there is no need to freak out you just bear it in mind and act acordingly
