Do you really need a router or is a wifi hotspot enough ? Just asking because I swapped them often

I have a TP-LINK AC750. Gigabit router for around 60 Euros. With 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wifi for faster speeds. It is just a standard router for home. It's good if your only requirements are being able to have fast WiFi and 1000Mbit LAN connection

Im currently using wifi extender as router and its not working that good :\

But do you need better wifi or something that replaces your ISPs router ?

well i have 100mb internet why do i need 1gb :D? inst that waste of money?

I think that it's about the fact that you can have a better internet later on if you need it without buying another router. But i recommend dual band router with 2.4Ghz and 5Gz WiFi

Dualband means that your router has 2 wireless radios (2.4GHz(the most common) and 5GHz(Faster but less common. has smaller range but less interference(i hope i spelled it right)))
