Updated list: Intel or AMD?

CZ7752

So recently I updated the build I made after more experienced people told me about crucial points that were bad about the PC. So I changed it, and it was split into two possible builds. One running on an AMD CPU, And one running on an Intel CPU.

Get the OS from reddit, you spend around $20-50$ depending on the seller

I would get the AMD build because  the pentium in your intel build isn't even overclockable AFAIK and the gpu is weaker than the 260x you have in your amd build. Unless you're going to upgrade on the intel build, i'd go amd. The 860k is better for gaming.

This.

Ruins both of your examples by far. This is the way to go.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I would get either 650W or 750W power supply for future upgrade.

True, but that can come in like two months..

He'd have to sacrifice the main system there (too much) to get a higher end PSU, and while the 430w isn't the best, it will be fine for the duration of saving for a better one.
