Mics not working on steam (again)

My mics refuse to work on steam, iv'e tried reinstalling it, uninstalling all programs that I think could mess with it they work every where else but steam apps.

 

I got it to work before by uninstalling and reinstalling Corsair Audio Drivers but now that's not working.

V2100's.

Refresh windows. You'll have to reinstall all of your programs, but you won't waste 8 hours with MS support.

Why would I need to contact Microsoft for an issue with Steam when it works every where else?

Because Steam support takes a month to respond to me. I got a free copy of MSX Pro from it so I can't complain.
