Hi,

I would like to get some feedback on following build.

The plan is to use it for gaming, as media center and playing around with virtualization.

Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB WINDFORCE Video Card  ($334.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $1170.04
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Get an aftermarket cooler to overclock that CPU and a R9-390 to beat out that 970.

EDIT: For VR, the 970 will do better unless AMD pulls some new VR technologies out of their ass.

Intel Core i7-6700K | Corsair H105 | Asus Z170I PRO GAMING | G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB | 950 PRO 512GB M.2

Maybe I wrote something wrong, but I meant virtualization as virtual machines running on a PC.
