Samsung's Latest PM863 3D TLC SSD Owns It

It's me!

Samsung has a monopoly on this technology.

Problem is, it won't do them any good apart from capacity, because THEY'RE STILL USING A SATA BUS.

Okay, I understand why I don't buy Samsung's drives. Because I don't want to support a company that behaves that anti-competitively.

No, Intel already has its own 3D NAND solution. Furthermore, Samsung was the first to arrive with a non-Sata speed M.2 drive. They're also first to NVMe if you count the secondary version of the SM951, second to it if you don't, with M.2 and U.2 adaptor card options.

Do you seriously need transfer speeds greater than 4GB/s (32Gb/s) to a single drive?

Well... there is always a disconnect between what i need and what i want. :P

The price per GB seems a bit high still. 3D NanD still isn't mainstream yet :(
