So basically i want to make a mini PC, the mini-ATX one which you can put into your pocket and go wherever you like with it. OFC i don't want to spend 1000€ on it, just a small little rig i can take to LAN parties.

I was thinking 775, but i can't find a mini-ATX mobo, if they existed back then, so atm i'm looking at a 1155 mobo from sapphire, but i'm not sure, thus i am here fo some help.

Basically i don't need it to run games on ultra, got a PC for that already, i just don't want to bring my main rig to parties since it's heavy as hell.

Was looking at the AMD APU line aswell, but idk how the graphics are there.

Anyway, ideas? Don't have an insane budget, try to keep it as cheap and powerful as it can get xD

EDIT: or a micro-ATX board, i just need it to be small and portable.

EDIT2: yes, i see that it's mini-ITX not mini-ATX, thought it was one and the same since a lot of shops show them as mini-atx.

i dont think you can make a PC that can be a mini ATX that can fit in your pocket :P Mini ITX is a bit smaller than ATX and should be able to be just as portable,APU can be a decent idea at 720p, 1080 not so great unless you have some pretty sexy ram, and enough cooling on it to suffice. If so than the APU is possible, if you want a GPU than look for the form factor models of some of the mid tier cards like the 380 or 960 950

It's called mini-ITX btw :P And why not get an i3-4170 and an R9 380? A combo like that would be fine :P

Well i said 1155 since the sapphire one i was looking at was 30€ used but under warranty for another year.

i3's are good, but i think the 380 is a bit of an overkill + the case is small so idk if the heat will build up :/

Well since i don't want to overspend, i was looking at the FM2 APUs, thinking of the a10-6790k (no real difference from the 6800k) or the 5800k.

tho the case i'm looking at only has 1 PCI opening in the back, so the card needs to be for 1 slot and that makes it a bit difficult

P.S. looking at used parts since it's cheaper, tho can buy new parts if needed.

I want to see you fit a mini ATX case in your pocket. You may be talking about those tiny ones, nucs.

Well i know, i don't want to spend a fortune either :P

Right now i'm looking at a case which previously had an intel atom in it, it's quite samm and big at the same time, can fit normal PSUs if they aren't very long. Tho i have my eye on one of those prodigy cases with the handlebar like things xD
