Dual link DVI-D cable to Dual link DVI-I connector?

Yes. DVI-I (Digital Visual Interface - Integrated) just carries an analogue signal on four extra pins, in addition to the normal DVI-D (Digital Visual Interface - Digital) signal. DVI-D cables work with DVI-I ports, but not the other way round, FYI.

Hey, I have a monitor with a dual link dvi d connector,,, will i be able to use the given dvi d cable with a gtx 960, which has a dual link dvi i connector? i know its a stupid question, any kind of help is much appreciated,,, TIA :D
