Finally made it to 25,000,000 points!  :D

 

Time to trade in my GTX 660ti for a 980 and really get to work! :lol:

Not too long after I threw in the 2 GTX 970's near the beginning of November that I got for my birthday   :)

how many points are you getting a day because i dont seem to be getting very many 

 

My dedicated linux folder has an i5-2300, 2 x GTX 970's, and a GTX 660ti atm - get about 250k-275 each for the 970s, 60-75k for the ti, and maybe 10k on a good day for the last 1 core available to fold on the CPU.  Probably about 600k-650k a day, typical, if I don't get any core 21 dogs.

Nice. I've been boincing with a Pentium D and 580 for about a month I think and just hit 4,000,000 a few days ago. Nice job!

Hehe Congratz.

 

I stopped folding entirely as soon as I hit 25,000,000. I Figured I'd give my 980 and 580 a break from folding for a little bit :D

I stopped folding entirely as soon as I hit 25,000,000. I Figured I'd give my 980 and 580 a break from folding for a little bit :D

That's what I am likely to do.  Got a couple months yet I am assuming.

I sent a PM to Whaler_99 when I hit 24999107, just to give him some lead time and maybe tease him a little.

 

I think he does them in batches though, so it probably didn't make a difference.  You'd think key players would get a little more attention :P 

 

But, like so many that help on forums, he's probably underpaid and overworked  :blink:

Yes, I always get around to them, eventually  :) Due to the number of requests I get, I just do them in batches. Remain patient . :D

But "winter is coming" (pardon the Game of Thrones phrase, but it happens to be true) - you might as well heat up the house with a folding rig instead of a space heater ... and a GTX 580 is a pretty good toaster, iirc  :lol:
