Hello, so my graphics card is sagging, I saw this video (linked below) where he used a pencil to keep his Gpu up. I tried doing this but the only way to do it is for the pencil's end to be sitting on my 24pin motherboard power cable near the psu, I have a cx500 psu ( yes I know it sucks, new one on the way) and the cable is wrapped, could this cause a fire hazard?

as long as you keep the pencil on the connector instead of the actual cables it should be fine.

it's still a pretty bad idea tough. you're putting a lot of extra stress on the connector this way. you'll be replacing the PSU soon tough so i guess it shouldn;t really matter

Zip ties to keep the Gpu from sagging?

Btw can the Gpu sag cause damage?

Yep. hang the card, rather than supporting it from the bottom.

It can do in some cases. It sort of depends on the weight of the card, as if it's too heavy, it can damage the PCIe connector.

You could get some string or something similar and wrap it around the PCIe power cable and the top of you case, tighten it until you GPU doesn't sag heaps and it should be all good. Even if it is sagging it won't be a big deal unless it is something crazy like falling out of the PCIe lane, which should happen anyway because of the locks.

Edit - Something like this I suppose.
