Oh Off-Topic... Another non-tech related question that I need an answer to.

 

Is it true that people don't remember or care of other peoples mistakes? I read this from another page and I was wondering if it is true or not.

 

Are people really so focused in their own stuff that they don't realise the mistakes that other people make? As example: you say something wrong...

 

I can't ask it correctly so I hope you understand.

Whenever I make a mistake in my own speech, for example, I notice immediately, but no-one else ever seems to, so I don't correct myself.

Seriously though with the amount of people and misinformation on this forum you would need an extremely good memory to keep track of who's saying what.

I guess that depends on the person and what their mindset is in that situation.

If someone is looking for mistakes, they will find it.

For example, if you are in a debate your opponent will sure as hell remember your mistakes.

But people who attend sessions with psychics tend to overlook mistakes made by the psychic. This is what we call confirmation bias.

I'd feel confident saying that is factual majority of the time. Assuming, that is, you are speaking of mistakes as I am thinking of them..

 

 

What type of mistakes are you talking about..?   Embarrassing mistakes on your end? You said the wrong words by mistake? 

 

Or you made very fowl gestures towards an individual?

I mean mistakes that make you feel embarrassed with people such as wrong words and weird gestures... Everything that you can imagine basically. Normal mistakes in conversations. Awkward silence etc.

These gradually get better - many people endure them as conversing with new individuals results in situation weirdness... there is still the comfort zone trying to be breached
