I have a box designed to help control the mouse cable from an old MS Sidewinder mouse.  I have been using that for like 6 years now:

Cord drag is one of the major reasons I go wireless... And tbh it's only 1 of 2 reasons lol

I just use my Logitech Extreme3DPro Joystick as a wire bungee.
