Is this normal behavior? (skyrim)

I have a modded skyrim, but I dont recall the game doing this, arrows are aiming really high when I fire my bow, I have seen a few people claim this is normal but it doesnt seem right to me at all.

 

Got a pic here, where the crosshair is aimed is where I was aiming, and it was about this distance and you can see how high up the arrow hit

Do you have any bow mods?  Iirc some of them "improve" your aiming and may not always be better for you.  And yes, the farther away your target, the higher you have to aim the bow, just like in real life (for the same draw).  (Or is that my mod that does that for me ><?)

 

I'm sure you know how to pull the arrows back fully before release, so I won't insult you with that question.

im looking it up alot of people claimed it was normal that the arrow didn't fly at the crosshair, but this doesn't seem right at all and I don't recall it doing this.

hmm weird.. it is a buggy game after all. and also, what enb are you using? and what grass?

I dont think, I have some stealth related mods, but this issue existed before I has those installed as well. I assume its just click and hold? If so yes that was at full draw and it aims very high.

im thinking its skeleton mod but im not sure...im afraid to start uninstalling mods cause running vanilla it will just not boot at this point, ive gone in too deep lol

i'll take a look I wanna see if it is something else though cause I would rather not fix a broken mod with a mod, ya know? if it is normal I will do that but ya I dont think what im experiencing is normal

As I recall, there is an optimum range at which the arrow goes to the crosshair.  If you are closer, it goes higher, and if you are farther, it goes lower.

 

Just a game mechanics design compromise faced by plotting an arc path along an aimed straight line, I guess.

Unfortunately having looked at footage of the xbox game there is no way in hell that whats going on in my game is normal =/

I just thought of a potential one thats causing issues There are 3, a kill cam mod, xp32 or a mod that lets me see my char in 1st person when I look down.

Joy of perspective said something about that, I use an FPS mod that does the same thing, or is the same mod. IIRC AGO required either one of those mods.

further testing ya it was Joy of perspestive, shame cause I like being able to see your person (im an immersion nut) but ya not worth broken bows

It's fine if you use a mod to tweak arrows too, AGO allows for you to manually adjust where the arrows go your self. There is a dedicated mod for it too, btu AGO adds some really cool animations as well.

I recommend you check that stuff out before you get rid if it.

Thanks but im content with how vanilla arrows behave and to be honest even though I have a ton of mods I would like to keep it as light as possible to prevent potential issues.
