Typing on tablet so I'll post this video to show what happens

Basically my PC went into an endless boot loop randomly in the middle of the night and has been wonky for 2 days. I've tried having pc out of case, replacing both PSU & cmos battery and even clearing bios many times.

Whenever there is power, the system automatically starts regardless if there is a case switch or not. Outside of replace motherboard, I have no idea what to do LTT. My drives are fine (thankfully!), but my graphics card started artifacting as well hense the ancient GT 220 in video. No friends I know locally have a Sandy Bridge mobo they aren't using to be sure the mobo is the part at fault.

Prior to this, the CPU, an i5 2500k, was only clocked at 4.2ghz.

Could you elaborate more on how this happened? And if you had recently made any changes to your system.

I was sleeping when this happened. My girlfriend was also sleeping and the constant boot looping woke her up. She told me about it after waking me up. Prior to that, the only major change was doing some Windows 10 updates because a game kept crashing.

I'm iffy on that update, but that shouldn't effect everything pre-boot.

Do you have a monitor hooked up to the computer? Does it post anything?

EDIT: How many ram sticks do you have in the motherboard right now? Try changing slot to one of the black ones if it's only 1 ram stick like in the video.

System does what's in the video. It powers on automatically once I press the rocker switch on the PSU and shuts itself off. Ram is 2 8gb sticks (only 1 in the vid since trouble shooting) tried moving ram in various slots with same result.

The power cuts off before monitor even gets a signal. I've also tried powering system without ram and graphics card and same thing just different debug code before shutting off due to no ram inserted.

Have you tested with another stick of ram? Just to make sure the one you're using isn't dead. And have you tried booting without hard drives connected?

Yep. If the board is powered regardless of what is plugged in, it will auto try to power on when I flip the rocker switch on the psu.  Normally if no ram and drives are plugged in, the debug code will sit at 22 or 55 instead of turning off immediately within a few seconds.
