LED Case Lighting Question

Interfectorem

So I've wanted to purchase some decent white LED strips to illuminate the inside of my case. I came across this LED strip on Amazon for $7, which is a great deal for 5 meters of LED lights. As opposed to this horrendously overpriced BitFenix strip that's only 30cm for $22.The roll of LEDs however only seems to have a 12v DC barrel connector. My question is, is it possible to cut that end off and attach a molex connector onto it? Thanks in advance!

I got these deepcool rgb from newegg a couple weeks ago and they're great.  The white isn't "pure" since its all the LED colors at once but it looks really white to me.

They're out of stock it seems right now but maybe you can find them else where

and they come with the molex to barrel adapter

and that one I linked is about the same length as the one you were talking about... my bad.  Yes I believe you can connect the adapter to a molex connector without any issues.  I was going to do that before I found the one I got

edit:  W-L made a good guide for stuff like this

-SNIP-

For single color LED strips you can basically connect the directly to 12V for the RGB ones you would need a small kit that has a controller and remote to change between the different colors and modes.
