Going to see Dance Gavin Dance's 10 year tour today!!!! I am stoked beyond belief.

They've have 3 different vocalists in their 10 year history, and all of them will be there with their new bands!!!

I'm seeing A Lot Like Birds, DGD, Slaves, and Dayshell at the Portage theater in Chicago tonight >:)

A Lot like birds is Kurt Travis's new band, he sang for DGD. Slaves is Johnny Craig's new bad, he also sang for DGD. Dayshell is Shayley Bourgot from Of Mice & Men. While I loved his vocals for of Mice, I don't much care for Dayshell.

Either way I am STOKED.

Anyone see this tour???

What about you guys? Going to or gone to any sick shows lately?

no  :)

*cries in spanish*

I love seeing live music, because I like to just let go. I love to dance like an idiot when everyone is watching. It's even better when music is live.

I just saw Fall or Troy's 10 year tour and they are better live and than they were 10 years ago!

Nope. But I am going to see Black Sabbath for their final ever tour at Download Festival 2016.

What do they know of England, who only England know?

Ozzy rejoined with them before the release of the album 13.

I just saw Nightwish and Arch Enemy in concert, and I guess it was a good show.

I'm not really a hugh fan of either band, but both bands did a great job.

I'm going to see Belphegor on December 12th and I'm going to see Destruction on December 17th.

Maybe there are some smaller local shows before then, but I can't really recall.

That really depends on the metal show and what you do at the show.

I once broke 3 ribs due to people not knowing how to steer a mosh pit.

And I would agree on Nightwish. I never was a big fan of the overly dramatic singen and writting in that band.

Arch Enemy were pretty cool, but their new lead singer really needs to be taught proper breathing technics.

She constantly sounded like she was out of breath.

And there is only one local show between now and December 12th.

I'm going to a sludge/doom show at the local youth center (read; anarchist center) on December 8th.

At the show will be three bands: Throneless, Dirt Forge and Recitation

Imagine 1979!! When slayer would be playing and people fucking KILL each other!! They didn't send abulances or medics to these shows because metal heads were the scourge of the earth lol

Well, Slayer wasn't formed untill 1981 and moshing wasn't really a part of the metal scene untill a bit later.

Moshing didn't really become a thing in metal untill the whole crossover thing in New York and San Francisco in the early-mid 1980's.

And it's still kinda like that today. While a metal pits can definatly be a brutal places, they don't hold a candle to a pit at a crust show.

At a metal show you might get a couple of bruises, while at a crust show you aren't leaving before atleast one person has stomped on your face.

They have an age restriction on concerts in Sweden?

I don't think I have never experienced a age limits on concerts in Denmark.

I once saw 13-15 year old kids at a Rockbitch show (don't google that if you want your innocence to be intakt) and no one batted an eye.

Hell, I have seen kids getting their freak on on stage at certain shows and no one batted an eye.
