Should be able to, don't expect an incredible high frame-rate in-game then though

Definitely. But if you move up to 1080p streaming, you may come across some hitches.

It's really pushing it, I'd opt out of a quad core honestly.

If you use NVIDIA's streaming codec it'll probably do it fine.

PEWDIEPIE DONT CROSS THAT BRIDGE

It's an "H" chip though - about 25% more powerful than the low-voltage i5s usually found in laptops.

Laptop screen is 1366x768 - 1080p isn't an option really

Keep the res to 720p and you'll be good. Use OBS to stream. Not sure if your GPU supports nvidia's encoding, but can't hurt to try.

I used to game AND stream, all using an A10-6800k APU. Having a discrete GPU makes a world of difference.

Gm107 (750 Ti) core so not sure if it can do encoding but yeah - Could my i7 4720HQ handle 1080p streaming btw?

What GPU is it paired with? I wouldn't try streaming with an Intel igpu, but as long add you have something in the $120+ range it should work.

From what I hear, the i7s are really good for streaming with the x264 encoder. In that setup, GPU runs game, i7 does the encoding.
