Good Cheap Audio?

What's a good cheap audio setup that will give me the ability to listen to YT videos and my video games without an annoying quirk to it.

As cheap as possible is my budget. I'm not an audiophile, I just don't want to listen to speakers that will hurt to listen to or have something really annoying about using them or just straight up not work.

Motherboard will be https://pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-gah170md3h

This is part of a Black Friday Skylake build I'm doing. My very first build.

Skylake cpus really aren't that great..

Just saying.

Anyway!!

The Audio-Technica ATH-M50x is my personal favorite pair of headphones. $150 really isn't that much.

What evidence do you have to support your statement?

If u can get haswell for better price, go for haswell unlocked cpus unless u are getting unlocked skylake ones.

Get a seinheiser HD or audio technica ATH series to ur liking.

Audio technica ATH is more balanced and neutra sounding which has equal emphasis to all instruments but doesnt have exciting/warm feeling.

Unless u get ath m40 and after

Basically, these are good for detecting all instruments clearly without compromising on vocals but maybe a little on bass

For seinheiser is bassy and punchy and exciting feeling but u wont have as much balance. Ill recommend the seinheiser if u love bass and fun music like monstercat house dubstep etc.

Ill recommend hd 202 for sub 50. Which has the sound signature ive explained.

For hd 400 and above,it has a very wide soundstage and bass which can let u detect all instruments and yet be bassy, but its a little more expensive. Vocals are decent for those.

If you want all at once ill recommend beyerdynamic custom one pro or ath m50 which are 150 usd if u find the right places to buy.

Which is balanced and has good bass and vocals

If u want headset, simply get hyper x cloud hands down.

If you are lucky with haswell e,it pays off more than skylake... seeing how games are utilising more cores, but thats a quick assumption.

5820k is a good long term solution possibly.

If someone is getting a locked skylake rather than an unlocked haswell, thats a very bad choice

$20 or less would be perfect, I honestly mean as cheap as possible. I don't listen to any big booming bass sounds, I just want something similar to laptop-grade audio.

No, I mean actual speakers, not just headphones.
