Power Supplies - Aerocool?

Gr0egercesg

Hey,

I'm in the market for a new power supply, of around 750/850W.

There's an evga one for £62:

http://www.dabs.com/products/evga-750w-supernova-bronze-80--semi-modular-psu-110-b1-0750-vr-9HT3.html?refs=418520000&src=3

Or an Aerocool model for £50:

Is it ok to cheap out, or is the evga one a safe bet?

Or any suggestions around that price point?

Is it ok to cheap out

NO.

You shouldn't ever cheap out on a PSU. That EVGA is a meh quality unit, but you should really be getting an EVGA G2 for one of the best PSUs on the market. Do you really want to be placing the lives of your expensive parts in the hands of a mediocre PSU?
