Alright so I'm not even kidding when I say this but for some odd reason YouTube buffers at night, I have no idea why but it only started a few weeks ago, it never buffers during the day or anything it's just a night when it does it.

EDIT: Alright so it only buffers in Firefox but not Chrome (didn't test IE)

Yea, it's such a obscure bug.

most isps experience heavy load at night, and for me at least Comcast seems to specifically throttle youtube and some other popular sites.

I live in a very small town though with ~2000 people, and the town next to mine is only ~14,000 people, I wouldnt think that it would hurt the speeds that much, thats not a lot of people, especially when you count out how many people have different ISP's than mine.

well they always oversell residential lines, meaning they count on non-constant load.

I've been having browser based youtube issues for a while.

Some of the time chrome will buffer but IE will be fine, and visa versa.

It's annoying, but not much can be done about it at this point.
