Amd Apu - how to overclock

Hi . I have an Msi A88x G45 gaming mobo , amd a6 7400k apu , ddr3 1866 8gb ram

Id like to overclock for better fps and if i press the overclock button on the mobo does it automatically over clock at a stable state? I dont want really high temps and risks n stuff

I havent overclocked in my life and this is my first pc build and its just the stock cooler . By overclocking how many extra fps can i squeeze out? i mainly play battlefield 4 multiplayer . I do plan on getting a graphics card soon.

Thanks in advance :)

Highly Appreciated

Don't overclock with a stock cooler

I used Catalyst Control Centre and it overclocked it from 4.1GHz to 4.6GHz...using the stock cooler

Temps?

No clue....ill get back to you when I know that. I know that the PC hasn't crashed...so it should be doing well...

In CCC, I have the range from 2-4.6GHz so itll do 2GHz when I'm not gaming

just did some research . il be better off not over clocking because i have no clue what il be doing . id rather just get a solid gpu and itll be fine . just going to wait abit for a good deal . any thoughts on the cooler master seidon 120m i think it was . is this liquid cool necessary if im not overclocking . id rather add that amount of money into buying my gpu
