Looking to purchase new mouse

I current have a SS Rival and it's too worn and out of its useful life so I am upgrading to a new mouse.

I play CS:GO, DotA 2, and other FPS games. I am wanting a reliable sensor but I am looking for something that will last longer than my Rival.

Here are the mice I've been looking at: Logitech G502 and the Mionix Naos 7000.

I've had poor experiences with Laser mice so looking for optical, if you have another suggestion let me know.

I've got a g502 and I really like it :) Maybe you could go to a computer store near you (if there are any) and try out some mice?

Closet place is Microcenter (1 hour drive) and they dont have mice to test out :(

Honestly, the two mice are so very different that there's hardly a point in recommending either. Both of them are known to be good mice and it's not like CSGO would favor either of them in terms of features. Find a shop with a great return policy, buy one mouse and test it for a few days and return it if you don't like it.

For what it's worth, I've owned the IME 3.0, DeathAdder, Zowie EC1 and SideWinder X8 before picking up a Mionix Naos 7000. When I tried out the G502 and SS Rival in a store, I honestly couldn't find a way to comfortably hold the G502. In comparison, the SS Rival was basically perfect for me. The reason I picked up the Mionix Naos 7000 over an SS Rival at the time was mostly because SteelSeries doesn't have an exactly stellar history with their mice and I had read that some people ran into issues with the sidegrips wearing out.

I own and use, sorted from newest to oldest: SteelSeries 6Gv2. Microsoft SideWinder X4. Mionix Naos 7000. Zowie EC1 Evo. Microsoft SideWinder X8. Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0. Dell U2414H. Samsung P2270H. AKG K273 Pro. Sennheiser HD555. Razer Goliathus Speed Medium. Func 1030 L. Qpad CT Medium.

I used to own: Razer DeathAdder 3G. Razer Krait. IntelliMouse Optical 1.1. SteelSeries QcK.
