Hey guys! As the title states I need to upgrade. My decent rig http://pcpartpicker.com/p/P4z7Vn. I'd like to get into streaming games to Twitch and YouTube and do some editing for YouTube videos. I'm not sure what processor would be good for streaming, gaming, and editing. I was thinking either a FX 8320, I5 4690, Xeon E3-1230 V3, or a I7 4770. I've never had an Intel processor and I'm unwilling to oc them due to how much they cost to replace. I'm really interested in the Xeon spec wise its an I7 without onboard graphics and it's 50$ cheaper, is that correct? I plan on adding another 970 for SLI, so I don't want the cpu to hold them back. I also need to know some streaming equipment. I plan on getting a good microphone, like a Blue Yeti. What else do I need that will help my streaming/editing endeavors? Any help is appreciated!

Get an Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 with an H97 motherboard.  If you are going to get another 970, you're gonna need to upgrade that psu too.  SOmething above 650W form EVGA GS/G2 or any Seasonic will do fine.  If you have the extra budget, get a capture card.

i5-4690k@4.5GHz || MSI GTX 970 || MSI z97 Gaming 5 || NZXT Kraken x61 || WD Black 1TB || Crucial MX100 || 8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro || Corsair RM750 || NZXT H440 || Corsair k70 RGB mx browns || Acer H236HL || ViewSonic VX2255wm-4

For the price difference, the Xeon is a better buy.  Their boost clocks compared to the 4770 is negligible.  The Yeti is incredibly large and heavy, I'd suggest the AT2020 instead.  Much smaller and lighter, and comparable/slightly better audio.  I've used both (I bought the AT2020, he bought the Yeti, I tested them both over 2 weeks).

Wow.. I am amazed how fast people responded with educated responses. This is my first day on the forums, completely blew my expectations! Thank you all! It seems that the  Intel Xeon E3-1231 V3 is the best dollar/performance. Can anyone link me a decent mobo that has SLI support preferably ASUS (bit of an ASUS fanboy..). I plan on getting either another set of G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB. Or should I get a faster 16GB (2x8GB)  2400 or 2133 ram? Does faster ram help with editing or streaming?

I've heard some very good things about the AT2020! It seems to be a little cheaper as well. Do I need a pop filter? I know very little about microphones.

I don't have an SSD for a boot Drive. I heard it's much faster? The mobo I'm looking at supports M.2 Should I get this M.2 drive? http://pcpartpicker.com/part/samsung-internal-hard-drive-mzn5e250bw Or should I just use a regular 250GB Samsung EVO SSD?

M.2 is just the socket type.  There are 2 types of M.2 drives, ones that use SATA lanes and another that use PCIE lanes.  The 850 Evo M.2 uses SATA lanes so there's no difference which you get, the 2.5" or M.2 variant.

Pop filters are pretty easy to make.  If you're somewhat creative, you can do what I do :P  Get a cross stitch frame, wrap a pair of women's stockings around or between it, attach it to a bendable metal arm like those you find on pulpits and just clamp it to your table :P
